Visa application must be filled out in two (2) copies.

Return completed visa form to the Embassy, together with:
1) Two (2) passport photographs stapled together
2) A valid passport,
3) A self-addressed stamped envelope,
4) The visa fee of $40 in cashier's check, or money order only
5) $4.00 for Certified Mail, $16(US domestic) for Federal Express or $12.50 for Express Mail for passport return

No personal check please.

Photocopy of round trip ticket is required or a company cover letter for business visa.

The health requirement is yellow fever vaccination before the departure to Mali. Cholera is recommended.

VISA PROCESSING REQUIRES FIVE (5) WORKING DAYS


The validity period is one (1) month from the date of entry to Mali. Requests for an extension of visa may be obtained in Bamako. Prior to entry in Mali, the visa is valid for three (3) months.

CAUTION: VISA CANNOT BE OBTAINED AT THE BORDER !!

Citizens of ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) do not need a visa to enter Mali.
ALL non-ECOWAS citizens need a visa.
